A leading global consulting firm, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Proposal Coordinator to join their team in McLean, VA. In this role, you will lead the development of high-quality, compelling proposals that contribute to our continued growth and success. As a Proposal Manager, you will work closely with business development, project teams, and subject matter experts to deliver winning proposals for federal, state, and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proposal Leadership: Lead and manage the full lifecycle of proposal development, including planning, scheduling, writing, editing, and submission.
  • Collaboration: Partner with business development teams and subject matter experts to translate technical, operational, and strategic input into persuasive and compliant proposals.
  • Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure that all proposals comply with customer requirements, including formatting, organization, and content. Maintain high standards for clarity, consistency, and attention to detail.
  • Strategy Development: Work closely with leadership to develop effective win strategies, proposal themes, and value propositions.
  • Team Management: Oversee proposal teams, delegate responsibilities, and facilitate communication to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality proposals.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve proposal processes, tools, and templates to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in proposal development and implement strategies to mitigate them.
  • Knowledge Management: Maintain proposal databases and resources, including past performance information, templates, and proposal best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Intermediate skill in Microsoft Word and SharePoint.
  • Working skills in Adobe Acrobat Professional to create and edit PDF documents.
  • At least 4-6 years of experience working on proposals.
  • Must be a US citizen due to the nature of many of our US government proposals.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Demonstrated time-management skills.
