Our client, a $10Bil AUM hedge fund with offices in NYC & London, is looking to seat a proven Fundamental Liquid Credit HY/XO Analyst with a sub-specialty covering non-Bank Financials & REITs.

~The hired candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience covering public credit and developing trades across the capital structure including liquid long-short equities.

~This position reports into the PM managing a $2Bil Capital Structure Arbitrage strategy and is an expansion to a well-oiled existing team consisting of 3 analysts.

In this role you will be tasked with:

~Developing & modeling out trade ideas,

~Preparing and presenting investment ideas, reports and real-time analytics to the PM and Team

~Optimizing and monitoring existing positions

~Engaging and maintaining external relationships with counterparties & 3rd party vendors. ~Attendance to key conferences & performance calls as needed.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3 to 5 years US-based experience in Fundamental Research Analysis from a top Hedge Fund or Investment Bank
  • Bachelors degree (STEM) required from top-ranked university with advanced degrees & CFAs preferred
  • Proven experience covering HY/XO liquid credits & long-short equities with a subspecialty covering REITs or Non-Bank Financials
  • Strong quantitative modeling skillset with expertise in Excel & Python a priority
  • Comfortable presenting to management and as needed participate in Investor calls
  • High-level communication skill sets — both written & verbal
  • Must be a self-motivated, team orientated, and highly collaborative professional interested in joining a high-performing US credit team
  • Must be authorized to work in the US
