Job Description
Job Summary: Cole Engineering Services is seeking a highly motivated mid-level software developer to implement design solutions in a rapid and agile manner and to identify, diagnose, and implement innovative solutions to solve software defects, as appropriate.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 6+ years software development experience using C++
- Strong object-oriented development background.
- Familiar with industry software development standards
- Experience in Linux/windows shell scripting.
- Ability to test/debug software
- Maintaining software using version control tools
- Ability to work within a team and independently.
Knowledge in any of the following areas is considered a plus:
- DevOps experience.
- Experience with Industry best-practice software development and collaboration tools, such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Familiarity with software development standards and with the capabilities of related Department of Defense software systems.
- Knowledge of military simulation systems.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor s degree in a technical discipline such as electrical engineering, computer science, systems or software engineering from an accredited college or university.
Other Requirements:
This is an onsite position at a CESI Orlando facility.
Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U. S. Citizenship status with ability to obtain a SECRET to TOP SECRET security clearance. Security Clearance requirements will be specified in the Government's Task Order.
