This position is responsible for overseeing the overall country operations within the organization and is responsible for all applicable functions establishing strategies, objectives, and coordinating organizational goals and standards. This position is responsible for financial performance and attainment of profitability and growth for the country. Supervision is often provided for a team of subordinate managers and/or directors. Collaborates with other members of the executive management team to align operational strategy or direction with the overall goals of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the CEO, staff, and functional leaders to identify strategic priorities and initiatives;
  • Lead growth strategy, incorporating organic and M&A growth plans and initiatives through collaboration with key stake holders and executive lead team;
  • Lead the annual operations strategic planning process, including setting objectives, defining key performance indicators, and establishing action plans;
  • Partner with Regional/Service Line leadership to facilitate and grow high margin service lines in the Regions maintaining operational and service delivery excellence; this includes driving a consolidated business development, operational, customer, and
  • resource strategy for regions/ locations.
  • Oversee key client management, business strategy including sales/business development, safety and quality field execution.
  • Monitor and assess the progress of strategic initiatives, making recommendations for adjustments as needed;
  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential growth opportunities;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input and insights and ensure strategic alignment across departments;
  • Monitor and evaluate industry and market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to identify potential risks and opportunities;
  • Oversee all operational functions to ensure seamless processes and optimal efficiency;
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational performance and profitability;
  • Ensure operational quality and safety performance, objectives, and goals are being met in compliance with corporate policies and procedures;
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all operational areas;
  • Enhance employee performance quality by setting clear objectives, monitoring progress, providing timely feedback, identifying training needs, coaching and mentoring staff within the department, and participating in annual performance reviews.

EDUCATION:

  • 15+ years progressive operations experience in a management capacity, including aspects of quality, safety, and training.
  • Bachelor’s Degree would be preferred.
  • Public company experience a plus.
  • A proven track record of strong performance in driving performance and key field operations metrics, coupled with successful and consistent organizational development history
  • Experience in working across business lines in a collaborative and proactive manner to achieve strategic growth targets
  • Outstanding leadership skills. Inspiring interpersonal effectiveness to lead team, train talent and effect change. Track record of building talent.

Working Conditions

  • Office environment with limited physical effort, continuous mental effort, and frequent complex requests for assistance interruptions from staff or other departments, etc.
  • Frequent travel is required.
