We're seeking a talented Content Marketing Manager to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you'll be the driving force behind our content strategy, crafting compelling copy that engages clients and prospects across multiple channels. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting the full marketing funnel, from attracting new leads to nurturing existing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

-Tax Season Content: Leverage your exceptional writing skills to create clear, informative, and engaging tax-related content for both individuals and businesses. This includes blog posts, social media updates, email campaigns, and other mediums that simplify complex tax topics, position PaulHood as a thought leader, and nurtures client relationships.

-Full-Funnel Content: Play a vital role in supporting the entire marketing funnel, from attracting new prospects with compelling lead magnets and landing pages, to nurturing leads with impactful and tailored email campaigns, and ultimately fostering client loyalty with ongoing value-driven content.

-SEO & Comms Execution: Take the lead in implementing the SEO strategy, managing vendor progress to ensure they are hitting their goals and making progress as expected with regular reporting throughout.

-Client & Prospect Engagement: Develop and execute communication plans that keep clients and prospects informed and engaged on topics such as year-end planning, retirement strategies, college savings, and tax season updates to help drive the value of a year round membership with PaulHood.

-Multi-Channel Content Creation: Contribute to a variety of marketing channels, including:

  • Craft engaging and informative monthly newsletters that provide valuable insights to clients and prospects.
  • Maintain and update website content, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and a positive user experience.
  • Write persuasive copy for email nurture campaigns that guide leads through the sales funnel and encourage conversions.
  • Develop press releases and other communications to effectively announce and promote new office acquisitions and other news stories.
  • Create and schedule engaging social media content that builds brand awareness and fosters online community engagement.

Who You Are:

  • Exceptional Writing Skills: A proven ability to write clear, concise, and compelling copy that resonates with target audiences.
  • Content Strategy Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a content-focused role, demonstrating a deep understanding of content creation, distribution, and measurement.
  • Financial Acumen: While experience in the finance/tax/accounting field is preferred, it's not required. A strong interest in and ability to quickly grasp financial, tax and accounting concepts is essential.
  • Adaptability: A willingness to work on a variety of projects and channels, adapting your writing style and tone as needed.
  • Collaborative Spirit: A team player who enjoys working with others to achieve common goals.

Experience and Education You Will Need:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Content Marketing Manager, with a strong focus on writing compelling and engaging copy - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
  • Hands-on experience with SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Expertise in social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook)
  • Project management skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, HubSpot and WordPress
