Coral Gables O&M Facilities Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced O&M Facilities Technician with experience with HVAC to join our team. This role involves maintaining, operating, and performing repairs on key infrastructure systems across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of day-to-day operations and issues in corporate office environments.
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm ET
Pay Rate? $30-42/hr. + 5 days PTO and 6 paid holidays
Location? Coral Gables, FL (Must be able to drive to another site 5 minutes away as needed)
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC and other infrastructure systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to ensure safety and functionality.
• Handle a variety of HVAC, minor electrical, plumbing, and building repairs.
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Provide exceptional customer service and uphold safety standards.
• Offer on-call support for emergencies.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced, multi-facility corporate environment.
• Proficiency in HVAC, minor electrical, plumbing, and building repairs.
• Strong planning and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and handle tasks with urgency.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.

Knowledge:

• Substantial understanding of building mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire life, and safety systems.
• Skilled in the use of common hand tools and specialized test equipment.
• Proficient in using computer tools such as productivity software, BMS systems, email, and databases.

Education:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Basic technical training in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing concepts from an accredited institution or union apprenticeship school.
