Highly Motivated Recording Engineer with Studio One Experience

Kimokat Records, a professional recording studio, is seeking a highly motivated Recording Engineer with expertise in Studio One or ProTools software. As a Recording Engineer, you will be responsible for recording high-quality audio tracks, as well as managing the studio's technical equipment and software, in a contracted position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Studio One or ProTools software to record high-quality audio tracks

  • Manage technical equipment and software in the studio, ensuring all systems are working properly

  • Collaborate with artists, producers, and other team members to create a comfortable and productive recording environment

  • Monitor and adjust sound levels during recording sessions

  • Troubleshoot technical issues as needed

  • Stay up-to-date with new recording technology and techniques to continuously improve the quality of Kimokat Records' output

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Recording Engineer, with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating expertise in Studio One or ProTools software

  • Knowledge of audio equipment, software, and recording techniques

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed

  • Highly motivated and passionate about recording high-quality audio
