  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Talend ETL Specialist with 7-8 years of hands-on experience in data extraction, data movement, and data transformation using Talend ETL tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with SFTP, EDI, and batch files, and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing ETL processes for the organization s data needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ETL Development: Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data using Talend.
  • Data Extraction: Extract data from various source systems (databases, APIs, flat files) and ensure seamless integration into target systems.
  • Data Transformation: Perform complex data transformations to ensure data quality and alignment with business requirements.
  • Data Movement: Ensure efficient data transfer and integration between systems using SFTP, batch file processing, and EDI.
  • Data Loading: Load transformed data into target data warehouses, databases, or data lakes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • SFTP and EDI Management: Work with SFTP protocols and EDI formats to manage and exchange batch files with external systems.
  • Batch File Processing: Automate batch file processing and integrate batch jobs into the ETL pipeline.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Perform data validation and ensure that all data transformations meet business rules and data quality standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with data architects, database administrators, and other stakeholders to optimize data workflows and troubleshoot issues.
  • Performance Tuning: Optimize Talend ETL jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 6-7 years of experience in ETL development with a focus on Talend.
  • Strong expertise in data extraction, data transformation, and data loading using Talend ETL tools.
  • Proficiency with SFTP protocols, EDI standards, and batch file processing.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
  • Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices.
  • Ability to automate and manage batch job scheduling.
  • Experience with performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Talend Certification is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud data integration tools (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is an advantage.
