Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Software Development Engineer 2 for a contract position in Redmond, WA. The opportunity will be six months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.
Position Summary:
This role will work on the core application functionality to light up new functionality, fix bugs in existing features, and drive for a better player experience in the app. This requires strong user interface skills and design, working cross-functionally with designers, and experience writing different levels of automated tests.Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Build new user interface features in the application in partnership with Product Managers and Designers.
- Fix bugs in existing user interface features in the application in partnership with other engineers.
- Build unit tests, functional tests, and manual tests for any new functionality or upgrading tests to prevent regressions in bugs fixed.
Qualifications:
- Strong ReactJS and React Native knowledge & experience
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, and interpersonal skills
- Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time
- Basic knowledge of the full software development lifecycle
- Basic ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issues
- 3+ years of experience required.
- Years of Experience Required: 3+ overall years of experience in the field.
- Degrees or certifications required: N/a_degree is required to be eligible for this role.
- Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain C++ experience and a Strong focus on user interface and UX design
- Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on The number of high-impact bugs and feature work completed and The ability to meet tight timelines and shipping schedules
- Minimum 3 years experience with React Native
- Minimum 3 years experience with React JS
- Minimum 3 years experience with C++ (Nice to have not required)
