WB Residential Communities is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join the team!

WB Residential Communities is seeking a full-time assistant property manager in Hempstead, LI to assist with the following: reception desk, typing, filing, sending recertification notices, accepting rental applications for Property Manager, contractors' schedules, processing work orders, preparing invoices for tenant charges, coordinate and process move-in, Annual and Interim Recertification paperwork, assemble monthly newsletter and other duties as assigned.

Financial knowledge helpful as well as excellent organizational skills. Advancement opportunities. Good phone skills and positive greeting attitude required. Property Management experience a plus.

Job Description:

  • Inspect models and vacant units, communicate related service needs to Property Manager
  • Responsible for ensuring the “model” apartments and target apartments are ready for show; responsible for maintaining work areas and office in clean and orderly manner; need to have an awareness of the “curb appeal” of the property
  • Thorough knowledge of lease terms, specifications and all community policies
  • Fully informed of current rental rates, sizes, locations, and all amenities of property
  • Develop full knowledge of application information required, screening processes, and policies regarding rentals
  • Maintain prospect management and engagement to include processing rental applications, status updates, and process security deposits in accordance with the company procedures and Fair housing requirements
  • Oversee and process new resident move-ins, secure resident signatures on all lease documents, and ensure the apartment is ready for residents confirmed move-in date
  • Responsible for proper maintenance of all resident and property files
  • Efficient and timely processing of all required administrative forms, reports, and related information
  • Other duties may be assigned as required

Job details: Full-time Mon. – Fri. 8:30am- 5:00pm

Qualifications:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)
  • Microsoft Office: 1 year (Required)
  • Customer Service: 1 year (Required)
  • US work authorization (Required)
  • Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Preferred)
  • YARDI: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Section 8 experience or Property Management experience (Required)

Salary: $52,000.00 per year
