Key responsibilities for Manager Operations Risk Assessment,
  • Deliver data science solutions and risk analysis for control room operations.
  • Define key metrics and trends for load, wind, solar, and other generation uncertainties.
  • Build and enhance forecasting models using advanced mathematical techniques, machine learning, and data analytics.
  • Collaborate with vendors on renewable forecasts and improve accuracy through retraining models.
  • Lead the implementation of new forecasting tools, leveraging data science and computer programming.
  • Advise and support team members on growth and competency development, aligning with long-term enterprise goals.
  • Oversee regulatory compliance with FERC, NERC, SOC, CIP, and other relevant standards.
We are looking for energetic and dedicated employees who have:Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional environments, with experience driving collaboration and innovation.
  • Familiarity with energy markets and uncertainty management tools.
We would also prefer candidates with the following:
  • Strong leadership in team coaching, performance management, and vendor relations.
  • Proficiency in data science, modeling, and software capabilities.
  • Experience with energy markets and renewable energy forecasting.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and build partnerships with internal/external stakeholders.
Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge.
