Senior Business Analyst, Greater Boston, MA, Hybrid - W2.

Location: Greater Boston, MA (Hybrid: 2 days onsite per week)

Overview:
Our esteemed client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to enhance the financial well-being of their customers, employees, and community. This role involves driving strategic initiatives, analyzing business needs, recommending solutions, and engaging stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Focus on payments within Commercial Payment Operations, gathering requirements and supporting customer and product onboarding.
• Utilize strong facilitation and presentation skills to resolve conflicts and engage teams.
• Conduct cost/benefit analysis and risk assessment; demonstrate proficiency in data modeling and user interface design.
• Develop or modify complex information systems based on user and business needs.
• Build partnerships and liaise with internal departments to identify needs and deliver solutions that add business value.
• Collaborate with Product Managers on business needs analysis, business cases, and success criteria.
• Elicit, document, and manage business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate design workshops to create workflow diagrams.
• Oversee program functional testing, including test plan creation and defect management.
• Provide regular updates on testing status, ensuring transparency and progress visibility.
• Mentor business line testers, promoting continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor s Degree required.
• 8+ years of experience in business analysis, particularly in banking or financial services.
• Experience in Commercial, Consumer, and/or Digital Banking preferred.
• Familiarity with Waterfall, Agile, and Lean methodologies.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, Visio, Azure DevOps, Salesforce, Copado, and Jira.

Note: Banking experience is a must.
