Hendler Family Brewing Company is recruiting for a Production Administrator for its growing Brewery Operations Team. The Production Administrator is responsible for assisting the Production Department with all day-to-day production related database management. This position is the primary purchaser for brewing related raw materials. This position requires effective communication, a collaborative mentality and strong decision making skills. The Production Administrator is responsible for streamlining processes and communicating vital information to the appropriate parties across brewery departments.

Hendler Family Brewing Company is recruiting for a Production Administrator for its growing Brewery Operations Team. The Production Administrator is responsible for assisting the Production Department with all day-to-day production related database management. This position is the primary purchaser for brewing related raw materials. This position requires effective communication, a collaborative mentality and strong decision making skills. The Production Administrator is responsible for streamlining processes and communicating vital information to the appropriate parties across brewery departments.
Essential Functions and Duties:
- Ensure all data is being properly entered into appropriate MRP systems
- Review packaging data and process completed packaging, packaging loss and WIP loss in ERP database systems
- Schedule fills of bulk grain silos in coordination with the brewhouse staff
- Procure specialty hops, malt and other raw materials used in beer production
- Assist with orders of kegs, cans and other packaging material
- Work with contract partners to coordinate brewing schedule requests, inventory levels, packaging splits and outgoing shipments
- Coordinate monthly inventory counts with production leads and managers
- Review invoicing for all contract partner batches and prepare invoicing data for the AR team
- Own communication within, into and out of the Brewery Operations department
- Maintain compliance work for the Brewery Operations department
- Study and/or work experience in inventory management, operations, or related field
- 2-3 years experience in administrative roles, preferably in manufacturing, food and beverage, or related fields
- Experience working with external vendors and relationship management
- Experience with Google Suite, Microsoft office applications
- Excellence in Excel/Google Sheets is a plus
- Experience with Ekos (or other ERP Inventory/accounting system) is a plus
- Outstanding internal and external communication skills; ability to communicate with multi-level management
- Team work focused and positive attitude, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Willingness to work in a fast-moving, dynamic, and team-oriented environment
- Problem solver; ability to take initiatives
- Understanding of budget management
- Extremely Organized
- Multilingual (Spanish and/or Portuguese) is a plus
- Knowledge of the craft beer market/industry and appreciation of the culture that goes with it
