Position: Asset Manager
Location: Harrisburg, PA
Duration: 6+ Months
***This position is remote for now, but in the future could be hybrid (onsite at the 5th floor of The Keystone Building (400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120). There are times where on-site work\meetings are necessary so candidate should be with an hour commute to Harrisburg. A lot of training will go into this position, so management doesn t want to select someone that travel will become an issue for.***
***The candidate must physically report to the 5th floor of The Keystone Building in order for first day processing, possible badging (this may take a few days for completion) and to pick up commonwealth-issued equipment.***
PennDOT seeks an Asset Manager with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Skills:
ITIL Foundation Certification
Minimum of 2-4 years' experience with BMC Remedy (version 20.02), or equivalent ITSM tool
Strong working knowledge of the CMDB and Asset Management methodology, tools, terminology, and industry best practices
Excellent communication skills listening, verbal and written, including meeting management and facilitation.
Excellent organization skills with proven ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities successfully, delivering with high quality.
Excellent customer service skills servicing and interfacing with individuals across IT (customers) in different roles
Proficient using all Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams)
Description of Duties:
Serve as the back-up Asset Manager.
Develops and implements processes and procedures for tracking and analyzing software, hardware, and equipment through the lifecycle.
Provides day to day operational & maintenance support of production issues, troubleshooting/debugging and resolving of issues related to Asset Management module in Remedy and Service Now.
Conducts annual inventory audit and develops processes and procedures for consistency.
Performs bulk uploads of asset data.
Identifies and performs audits on asset data.
Develops and maintains asset related foundation data.
Develops asset reports for users and management.
Creates user accounts, site information, hardware and product categorizations and support groups.
Participates in user acceptance testing.
Manages fixed and floating licensing for Asset Management Module.
Creates end user documentation.
Develops and conducts training.
