Job Summary:
The MSP Sales Representative is responsible for driving new business growth by selling managed IT services to businesses throughout the region. This role involves a consultative approach to sales, working to understand client needs related to IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud services, and network management, and then providing tailored managed service solutions to help achieve their business objectives. The ideal candidate will be a motivated sales professional with a strong background in IT services and solutions, aiming to build lasting relationships and drive customer success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation:

    • Identify and target new business opportunities for managed IT services in the regional market.
    • Conduct market research to understand potential clients' IT environments, challenges, and requirements.
    • Build a robust sales pipeline through cold calling, networking, referrals, digital marketing, and attending industry events.
  • Consultative Selling:

    • Engage with potential clients to assess their current IT landscape and pain points.
    • Present and demonstrate the benefits of managed services, including network management, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, disaster recovery, and IT support.
    • Develop and deliver customized sales proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations to address client-specific challenges.
  • Account Management and Relationship Building:

    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients to drive retention and uncover additional sales opportunities.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering guidance on optimizing their IT operations and infrastructure.
    • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT sales or a related field, preferably in managed services.

Special Requirements:

  • Relevant certifications in IT sales or managed services (e.g., CompTIA, ITIL) are a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of IT services, solutions, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Additional Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience in a consultative sales environment.
  • Familiarity with cloud services and cybersecurity solutions.

Work Environment:
