BIM Modeler

Job Title: BIM Modeler

Job Description:

• Prepare ALL work in accordance with approved office processes, formats and standards
• Work on assigned tasks, under direction of engineering staff, performing, as appropriate, engineering analyses and calculations
• Work on assigned tasks, under direction of engineering staff, preparing required documents in CAD or BIM
• Work on prospects for sales developing presentations using Revit, Tekla or other 3D modeling platforms
• Perform tasks accurately and on time with necessary guidance, and proactively seek advice on tasks as needed
• Manage projects efficiently, communicating and coordinating with contractors, architects, engineers, etc..
• Patriate and lead project meetings
• Manage other staff members, as required, when assigned as a Task Leader
• Meet task deadlines and adhere to budgeted hours
• Participate in external/in-house seminars and training activities/sessions
• Participate in the development of in-house processes, checklists and standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications:

• Junior College Associate's Degree, Technical College Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil, Industrial, or Structural Engineering
• Must be accredited in the US
• 5+ years of professional, post-graduate work experience
• Ability to model projects in CAD and BIM independently
• Must have precast experience
• Must be familiar with Tekla
• Ability to manage projects independently and communicate/coordinate with clients
• Must be local to Aurora, IL or within commuting distance- this role will start fully in office
  
  

Work Site:

The role will start 100% in office, however will be allowed 2 remote days once approved by their manager. Consultant can pick which days they would like to be remote.
