Human Resources Payroll Administrator

Weiser Engineering (“Weiser”) is a Denver, CO based contract manufacturer specializing in precision sheet metal and assembly services, as well as value added machining. Looking for a responsible and dedicated Human Resources Generalist to join the team. This is a full-time position with potential for long-term growth within the organization.
Core Responsibilities:
HR Recordkeeping, Documentation, Data Management:
- Handle all filings of employee records including but not limited to personal files, benefits, attendance, etc.
- Upload employee records to HRIS and secure cloud servers maintaining confidentiality.
- Update employee handbook, WVPP, IIPP, and other policies as needed
- Generating reports and analyzing HR Data as needed
Payroll:
- Time and attendance tracking, Review and verify timesheets in ADP Workforce Now and attendance records for accuracy, collecting and verifying payroll data
- Maintain time clocks, troubleshooting biometric and other technological issues
- Communicate call outs and schedule issues between employees and their direct supervisors
Onboarding and Offboarding:
- Prepare contracts, offer letters, and coordinating the onboarding process for new hires (paperwork, onboarding process, benefits enrollment within ADP)
- Conduct employee terminations, exit interviews when needed, processes paperwork with discretion
Employee Relations:
- Answers employee inquiries about HR policies, procedures, and other general questions that may arise
- Mediate and resolve employee disputes and conflicts while promoting a positive work environment and employee engagement
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and industry-specific standards
- Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues
Benefits Administration:
- Assisting employees with benefits inquiries and enrollment
- Processing Workers Compensation incidents into ADP Dashboard as needed
- Coordinating with insurance providers and other benefits vendor (ex. Auto Insurance, covered drivers)
Additional Responsibilities:
Recruitment Support:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain qualified manufacturing personnel
- Assess candidates, coordinate interviews, and collaborate with hiring managers to make hiring decisions
Training and Development
- Collaborate with QMS department to administer procedural training for employees ensuring qualification to operate and optimize workflow
- Coordinating training programs and maintaining training records, ensure completion of state required trainings, such as sexual harassment training and workplace violence prevention training
Qualifications:
- Bilingual
- Detail-oriented, self-starter, highly organized
- Professional and discrete
- 100% in-person attendance
- Reliable, responsible, collaborative
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google, Cloud based Task Management Systems (ex: ASANA or Slack)
- Knowledge of state and federal employment regulations
Education or Experience
- Minimum 1 year of Human Resources Administrator/Payroll experience required
- PHR or SHRM-CP Certification is a plus
- ADP Experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
- Experience working in a Manufacturing environment preferred
Pay: From $30.00 per hour based on experience
