Overview: Are you a strategic financial leader with a passion for driving business growth through data-driven insights? We are looking for a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead our FP&A team and work closely with senior leadership to shape our company’s financial future. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Financial Strategy: Partner with senior leadership to drive company financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning. Provide critical insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Oversee the preparation of detailed financial models, reports, and presentations. Analyze key business drivers, revenue, and expenses, and provide actionable insights to improve profitability.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a high-performing FP&A team, ensuring best practices in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including operations, sales, and marketing to ensure alignment with company objectives and to provide financial guidance on strategic initiatives.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Implement financial models and develop metrics that will enable proactive and actionable decision-making across the organization.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve the FP&A function by streamlining processes, enhancing tools and systems, and implementing best practices for financial analysis and reporting.
  • Scenario Planning & Risk Management: Conduct scenario analysis to evaluate potential financial risks and opportunities, ensuring business decisions are grounded in data and sound financial judgment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 7-plus years of FP&A experience, with a track record of leading financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong financial modeling skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems. Experience with financial planning tools such as Hyperion, Adaptive Insights, or Anaplan is a plus.
  • Leadership: Proven experience managing and mentoring teams. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
