JOB DESCRIPTION:

Spinnaker SCA is looking for a Supply Chain Planning Practice Lead, Vice President. The Practice Lead/VP will have management responsibility for planning technology implementation and managed services practice at Spinnaker SCA.

In this pivotal role, you are responsible for solution sales revenue generation, resource management and staffing, account management, methodology development, partner alliance management, and consulting personnel development. The Vice President supports Sales by participating in sales calls, contributing to sales presentations and proposals, and writing statements of work.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Practice Management

  • In depth knowledge of Blue Yonder planning application, preferred
  • Business development at new and existing clients
  • Successful delivery of initiatives and projects
  • Conducts operational reviews of the lines of businesses
  • Contributes to the growth of Spinnaker SCA’s intellectual property (methodologies, training, analytical tools)
  • Ensures adherence to project Methodologies to ensure project quality for clients.

Revenue Generation/Forecasting

  • Achieves set financial targets
  • Achieves cross selling targets
  • Completes quarterly detailed sales and margin forecasts
  • Increases Spinnaker SCA brand awareness in the marketplace
  • Manage to target gross margins across their Practice Areas
  • Writes SOWs for all engagements related to practice

Account Management

  • Receivables collection
  • Resource staffing & development
  • Attracts, hiring and retaining top talent from the marketplace
  • Professional development of employees in line of businesses
  • Ensures compliance with corporate policies and procedures

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain planning and/or management services
  • Blue Yonder Experience highly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree master’s degree desired
  • Has a significant network of contacts to draw upon for business development leads and/or potential resources
  • Ability to sell Spinnaker SCA’s services to clients
  • Ability to promote Spinnaker SCA’s culture and manage resources
  • Ability to establish a practice strategy and develop a market identity
  • Strong understanding of the business mechanics of a small company. Ability to be successful without a strong corporate brand or infrastructure from the corporation
  • Subject matter level of knowledge in the following
  • Business processes (planning, sourcing and procurement, manufacturing, logistics and warehousing, reverse logistics)
  • Technology solutions
  • Key client industries
  • Strong written and oral presentation skills
  • Management of Team and Delivery
  • Ability to establish strong vendor relationships to collaborate on sales strategies and product roadmaps
  • Ability to operate in vague and constantly changing internal or client situations Presentation abilities (up to CxO level
