Civil Engineer (EIT)

Lochmueller Group is seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. This position may work on a variety of civil engineering design projects, but will initially have an emphasis on water resources projects. Responsibilities of this role will include:

• Preparing preliminary design plans, documents, and specifications under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Conducting analyses, performing standard computations, and developing drawings and visual aids for projects.
• Collaborating with the design team to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes and regulations.
• Observing construction activities to gather relevant data and contribute to site assessments
• Utilizing design software and tools for drafting and modeling.
• Supporting the development of cost estimates for projects.
• Performing quality control self-checks of assigned work.
• May also perform other duties as needed.
  
  
  
  
  

Qualifications for this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related engineering field
• Passed, or pursuing passage of, the FE/EIT exam
• Relevant full-time or internship experience in civil engineering, preferably in site, transportation, or water resources design
• Experience in Utility Design and Coordination is also desirable
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
