The Regional Vice President of Florida Retail Operations is responsible for the strategic oversight and operational leadership of dispensary locations within the assigned region. The Regional Vice President of Florida Retail Operations will focus on building and leading high-performing teams, optimizing operational efficiency, and maximizing profitability, while maintaining brand consistency and enhancing the patient experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the operations of all dispensary locations within designated regions of Florida, ensuring consistency and efficiency in daily activities
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize profitability in assigned regions while reducing operational expenses, leveraging KPIs to assess performance and adjust accordingly
  • Track and analyze productivity and labor control metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes based on key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Execute a 30-60-90 day action plan as defined by the Senior Vice President of Distribution, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives
  • Supervise and provide guidance to Dispensary General Managers on critical aspects such as personnel selection, inventory control, OMMU compliance, training, physician outreach, and financial control
  • Identify and address immediate and preventive maintenance needs, ensuring facilities are well-maintained, safe, and provide an inviting environment for patients
  • Conduct regular on-site audits focusing on management effectiveness, staff engagement, product knowledge, organization, cleanliness, and overall patient experience
  • Ensure uniformity in design, functionality, and patient experience across all dispensaries, upholding brand standards
  • Facilitate daily communication with Cultivation, Processing, Marketing, Training, Human Resources, Compliance, and Financial Departments, representing the impact of company-wide processes on dispensary operations while providing updates to the Senior Vice President
  • Collaborate with the Real Estate Division to identify and evaluate potential new dispensary locations, ensuring they meet strategic and operational requirements
  • Participate in the design of new dispensaries and recommend operational improvements for existing locations
  • Involved in all aspects of talent management, including recruitment, promotions, relocations, terminations, and Human Resources investigations, in collaboration with the Senior Vice President of Distribution
  • Investigate and reconcile any financial discrepancies at the dispensary level, reporting findings directly to the Chief Financial Officer to ensure financial accuracy
  • Monitor and control inventory levels at all dispensaries, minimizing discrepancies and optimizing product management based on sales trends
  • Research and develop non-cannabis retail products to enhance the overall patient shopping experience and diversify the dispensary product portfolio
  • Provide verbal, written, and remote support to Managers, Assistant Managers, and other team members to address operational issues and concerns
  • Collaborate with the Regional VP team and Senior VP of Distribution to refine branding strategies and contribute to the operational design of expansion projects
  • Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
  • Assist with the implementation of company policies, standard operating procedures, and performance standards.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Manages 10 or more subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of 50 or more employees in various departments. Education And/or Experience
