We are seeking a skilled EDI Specialist with 4 to 8 years of experience in EDI, SQL, claims routing, and EDIFECS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ANSI X12 standards, including EDI 835 and 837, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our EDI systems to ensure efficient and secure data exchange.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain EDI transaction maps. Ensure efficient and secure data exchange between systems. Utilize EDIFECS tools for EDI transaction processing, compliance checking, and data transformation.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries. Manage database performance. Collaborate with database engineers to enhance system efficiency.
  • Monitor and manage the routing of claims. Ensure timely and accurate processing of claims. Resolve discrepancies and issues in claims processing.
  • Provide support for EDI systems. Debug issues and coordinate with trading partners for new integrations.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of system changes. Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of EDI standards, including ANSI X12 (EDI 835 and 837).
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management.
  • Experience with EDIFECS tools.
  • Excellent decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leadership skills and experience in leading a team of support analysts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
