Client: NYU Langone Hospital

Duration: Multi-year contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and stakeholders, to define project requirements and deliverables.
  • Implement and manage Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall processes, tailoring approaches to project specifics.
  • Facilitate project meetings, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and stakeholder reviews.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, proactively identifying and addressing risks and issues.
  • Ensure effective communication among team members and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status.
  • Mentor and support junior project managers and team members in project management best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 8+ years of project management experience, with a proven track record of managing software development projects.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC processes and methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile frameworks.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project) and collaboration software.
