SUMMARY:

Responsible for the respective product line of the Sanisure Group, including Dynamag, Cell washing and concentration technologies, bioreactors, mixing, bottles, new kits etc. used in Cell & Gene Therapy applications. Overall responsible for putting the right product mix in place in order to reach short term and long-term sales budgets (revenues, order intake and profitability). Collaborate with Marketing Communication and Sales to develop high performing marketing campaigns, including the overall play book and strategy for sales. Regularly interface with key leaders (i.e. senior executives, key customer contacts, external partners, and various functional leaders across the company) to facilitate the timely completion of critical initiatives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Accountable for successful long- and short-term business growth, and budget achievement.
  • Drive Commercial Excellence. Expedite Sales Orders for the product line.
  • Accountable to develop a product portfolio and roadmap that allows to reach the long- & short-term business growth and budget targets of the Sanisure Group.
  • In this context orientates himself along the value chain of the customer. And establish in this respect platforms by a smart combination of product technologies.
  • Develop a Portfolio and marketing mix (product, price, place, promotion) that allows easy cross-selling and/or develops hierarchical cross-selling strategies with the help of e.g. anchor products (e.g. establish PAC strategies)
  • Creates the right rationales for standard (or configurable) vs. customized products and solutions
  • In this respect drive standardization where it makes sense and creates added value for our customers and for our company (delivery performance, delivery reliability, faster and cheaper manufacturing costs etc.)
  • Works with supply chain on product availability in different geographies, considering working capital, expirations etc.
  • Develop business plans and business models as well as other rationales for the portfolio development and maintenance (including CLV if applicable)
  • Analyses market trends, markets segments and business potentials in collaboration with Sales Management (unmet needs vs. competitor positioning). Runs NPS etc. -> Run a different race not the same race faster.
  • Sets the right priorities for the development roadmap together with Product Development
  • Finds the right mix of short-term revenue creators and more strategic technologies
  • Creates scale-up versions and tactics to ensure the implementation of our technologies into the early customer phases.
  • Creates proposals for strategic moves (acquisitions, partnerships). And develops rational for make buy cooperate
  • Active part of Due Diligence (portfolio assessment, Go to Market, Business Plan and Model, etc.)
  • Participates in contract negotiations with portfolio partners
  • Leads customer (co-developments) and portfolio partnerships together with Product Development and/or Corp. Development
  • Prepares material for the stage gate processes together with Product Development
  • Executes effective product launches (including launch packages, Sales play books, price guide lines, if applicable after sales service etc.)
  • Creates with Marketing Communication effective and creative marketing campaigns (including Application notes, Webinars, Customer journeys, etc.)
  • Creates with Sales selling tools (e.g. configurators, process simulation software etc.)
  • Supports big RFQs if needed
  • Provides Technical support to the Sales Force
  • Responsible for the cost budget for the product line
  • Drives effective cooperation with Marketing, R&D, Quality (Complaints), Supply Chain (delivery performance and reliability) and Sales
  • Establishes the right KPIs to drive global growth (tracks the amongst others vitality index, number of trials per region, number of prototypes per region, leads, time to launch, revenue and order development of product lines and newly launched products against budget (also by territory). And creates corrective actions if needed (tighter with sales, Product Development etc.)
  • Defines potential Pricing moves, evaluates them and select the best ones to drive Commercial Excellence. For example, PAC strategies, value-based pricing, Margin vs. pricing power etc.)
  • Develops and maintains a price list per geography for standard products.
  • Networking with key decision makers, opinion leaders, industry associations to anticipate market trends, regulatory and technology developments.
  • Development of strategic customer co-operations, establish key user groups and forums
  • Gives presentations on conferences and at customers

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 6+ years of experience in a Sales, Field Marketing, PM, or Application Specialist role
  • An expert in Cell & Gene Therapy
  • Experience with technology partnerships (a plus)
  • Experience with portfolio integrations from either partners or acquired companies.
  • Has ideally executed pricing initiatives and product launches (role outs) in the field of responsibility
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload while working independently and with teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Demonstrated project management skills that support the achievement of project deliverables and deadlines
  • Experience with change management
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills (oral & written/presentation)
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Professionalism and a high level of customer focus self-initiative
  • Self-managed (capable of working from a remote location with limited supervision)
