As a fast-growing startup, we add several new partners each month, and our platform is currently in use by organizations across multiple states in the US. We are seeking individuals who are excited to play a critical role in helping our partners achieve their missions.
Role Overview
The Partner Success Manager will manage a portfolio of partners, helping them onboard, adopt, and fully utilize the Edstruments platform to meet their organizational goals. You will be their main point of contact, guiding them through product implementation, training, and ongoing usage, while advocating for partner needs and contributing to product improvements. Key Responsibilities
- Onboarding & Adoption: Successfully onboard all new partners, ensuring they are fully operational on the platform and familiar with key features that align with their needs. [Within the first 60 days of joining].
- Upsell Opportunities: Identify and pursue at least 2 upsell opportunities with your assigned partners. The emphasis is leveraging positive relationship, known partner needs, and ongoing outreach to drive successful outcomes. [Within the first 6 months of joining].
- Retention & Renewals: Drive renewals for assigned partners, aiming for a target 95% renewal rate. Emphasis is on engagement and effort to support partners throughout the relationship and proactively identifying and mitigating churn risks. [Ongoing].
- Lead Check-ins & Trainings: Conduct independent check-ins and training sessions to address partner questions, highlight new features, and ensure ongoing satisfaction. [Within the first 90 days of joining].
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to communicate partner feedback and advocate for partner needs, contributing to product development and improvement. [Ongoing].
- Ongoing Partner Maintenance: Send regular follow-up emails to partners, summarizing key points from meetings, tracking pending action items, and ensuring clear communication on next steps. Regularly update CRM systems with these interactions and track partner needs and opportunities. [Ongoing]
- Independent Product Mastery: Take initiative to independently become a product expert within the first 60 days, and continue deepening your knowledge to effectively support partners and stay up-to-date on new features. [First 60 days and ongoing]
Key Outcomes
- Achieve a 95% renewal rate for assigned partners.
- Lead regular check-ins within 60 days and training sessions independently (without team support) within 90 days.
- Identify and pursue 2 upsell opportunities within the first 6 months of joining the Edstruments team.
- Become a product expert on Edstruments’ full suite of modules within the first 60 days, serving as a trusted and knowledgeable guide to our users over email, chat, and live calls.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or a related role, preferably in the tech, education, or nonprofit sectors.
- Proven ability to drive successful software adoption and ensure customers/partners fully utilize platform features to achieve their goals.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple partner relationships simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and the ability to track partner engagement and progress.
- Strong preference for candidates with a background in finance, financial technology, and/or procure-to-pay and budgeting/financial management systems.
- Experience conducting classes, training sessions, and/or onboarding customers, ideally to a software tool.
- Background in education, technology, or a related field.

Compensation
Starting base salary range of $54,000 - $63,000, with potential for performance-based bonuses. Includes a 3% 401(k) match and 4 weeks of PTO, including paid federal holidays.
Logistical Notes
This is a 100% remote role with a flexible start date, but availability during Central Time business hours (8 am - 5 pm) is required.
Applicants must be legally able to work for an American company, we are unable to sponsor visas at this time. This is intended to be a full-time, US-based role, with limited exceptions to these two conditions considered for exceptional candidates on a case-by-case basis.
