Summary: Seeking a Controls Engineer to manage multiple projects, develop control narratives, and produce detailed instrumentation plans.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation and Control Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.

  • 5-10 years of experience in instrumentation and control systems engineering.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Bluebeam.

  • Knowledge of standards applicable to instrumentation and controls.

  • Familiarity with PLC, HMI, and DCS equipment.

Preferred Skills:

  • PLC/DCS programming experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Produce installation details, electric room layouts, cable schedules, control panel layouts, loop diagrams, and instrumentation plans.

  • Develop control narratives.

  • Specify process instrumentation and size control valves using vendor software.

  • Develop specifications and data sheets for instrumentation and controls systems.

  • Review vendor submittals for input on instrumentation and controls.

  • Consult with team members to ensure smooth project information flow.

  • Assemble scopes, drawings, and specifications for equipment procurement.



Pay Details: $51.00 to $69.00 per hour
