Summary

Looking for a process-oriented Program Manager focused on helping support growth of usiness by proactively defining and executing against key activities for the B2B / Commercial Global Go to Channel Planning team aligned to a plan, execute, monitor & manage framework.

Responsibilities

  • The right candidate will possess strong program/ project management skills with a drive for results rigor as well as to have the ability to effectively and proactively communicate cross functionally with key members of the team as well as with key stakeholders of external partner teams.
  • In addition, this person will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be a self-starter, possess a strong sense of ownership, and have experience creating and managing complex workback schedules for a B2B/ Commercial business.
  • The ideal candidate will be joining a team with lots of investment coming in with high visibility and exposure, contributing to planning programs at a worldwide level.
  • The right candidate will possess strong program / project management skills with a drive for results rigor and can effectively and proactively communicate cross functionally with key members of the team.
  • Develop and execute B2B Go-to-Channel Workback Schedules: The program manager will proactively create and implement a project plan/workback for 1) internal ops and business readiness, and 2) external ops and partner readiness.
  • The program manager will create a workback that captures all tasks needed to launch on-time and operate successfully post-launch, and work in a collaborative project management tool, driving review/ approvals with the Category Planning Program Manager and cross-functional partners.
  • The program manager will clearly define project scope, goals, timelines, and resources required to successfully launch all initiatives in support of new product releases and/or updates.
  • Coordinate internal cross-functional teams: The program manager will proactively work with many cross-functional teams to ensure all internal operational activities, such as SKU creation, set-up within Systems, UAT, reporting design, building internal processes, etc., are executed on-time.
  • The program manager will also drive working sessions with key cross-functional stakeholders to gather and document necessary inputs (e.g., business requirements, new processes)
  • Coordinate collaboration with external partner teams: The program manager will proactively work with internal business owner and partner teams to ensure all external operational activities, such as distributor SKU and marketplace set-up, API integrations, development of new partner processes, and partner enablement, are executed
  • Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks: The program manager will identify potential risks and issues that could impact the project timeline or quality, communicate them to create awareness of the risk, and develop a plan to mitigate those risks with the Category Planning Program Manager's guidance and support.
  • Ensure project quality: The program manager will oversee the quality of deliverables from key internal partners, and drive stakeholder accountability, to ensure they are meeting Sales' teams needs to ensure its delivered on time to avoid downstream impact. When issues arise, proactively communicate, and plan/ execute appropriate actions with Category Planning Program Manager's support.
  • Communicate with GTC Planning and Key Sales Leader: The program manager will provide regular updates / communications on the project status, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Plan the work/ work the plan: The program manager will lead the development of, and tracking against the launch workback, organize file storage, and be the Single Source of Truth by ensuring that all the necessary resources, processes, and tools are in one place/ up to date for a successful launch.
  • Execution support for the Category Sales Team: The program manager will support the Category Sales Manager team in execution of in-market activities that include developing the Sales Plan of Record, Program Letters, Pricing Lists, SKU Management, etc. on a quarterly basis, as well as to support the solutioning work to resolve ad-hoc business issues

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the B2B/ Commercial space with focus on AR/ VR/ or Consumer Electronics market 10+ year track record of driving successful, complex product launch workback schedules with focus on planning & execution
  • Proven capacity to get things done at short notice while collecting information from a variety of internal and external sources
  • Program management experience
  • Proven track record planning for or executing against channel sales business strategy, go-to-channel, and/or process optimization for large matrixed organizations
  • Experience using Project Management tools
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • PMI or PMP certification preferred.
  • Proven track record of driving clear communications, working across cultures, and influencing stakeholders without authority across all levels of an organization
  • Experience managing workload within a fast-paced time frame
  • BA/BS in Business or Marketing related field (or similar work experience)
