They seek a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join their executive team. This individual will be critical in shaping the organization's future, ensuring operational excellence, and driving sustainable growth across their communities.

Position Overview

As the COO, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of all senior living communities. You will lead a diverse team of regional directors, community managers, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistently high standards of service, compliance, and care. Your leadership will directly impact the well-being of residents and the success of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and manage operational strategies for Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care communities across the East Coast.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to implement the company’s long-term vision and growth strategy.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with state and federal laws, particularly those related to senior care and healthcare services.
  • Optimize operational efficiency across all communities to drive financial performance while maintaining high-quality care standards.
  • Develop and oversee quality improvement initiatives and ensure consistent resident satisfaction.
  • Manage and mentor a team of regional and community leaders, fostering a positive, mission-driven culture across the organization.
  • Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that enhance service delivery and operational outcomes.
  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, including residents, families, community leaders, and healthcare partners.
  • Lead company efforts in implementing new technologies and innovations that enhance resident care and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record as a senior executive (COO, VP of Operations, or similar) in the senior living industry.
  • Strong understanding of senior living operations, including Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services.
  • Demonstrated success in multi-site management, preferably across different states or regions.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance in the senior care or healthcare industry.
  • Financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, forecast growth, and drive profitability.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel regularly to communities across the East Coast.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or similar advanced degree preferred.
