This external sales leadership role focuses on acquiring new Financial Institutions and building relationships with bank and trust executives to drive enterprise adoption of a financial platform. The primary responsibility is to identify and cultivate new bank and trust relationships, collaborate with business development leaders to onboard clients, and drive territory growth. The role involves engaging C-Suite leaders, developing strategic plans for institutions, and leading platform conversion strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Acquire new Financial Institution relationships by engaging executives and C-Suite leaders.
  • Deepen relationships with new clients through proactive initiatives.
  • Address client issues with tailored solutions to drive value and efficiencies.
  • Recommend pricing and financial structures to align mutual goals.
  • Develop strategic plans for institutions to engage with the platform.
  • Partner with external business development teams to identify and onboard new institutions.
  • Lead platform conversions and create sales plans for the Bank/Trust channel.
  • Use social media and proactive phone sales to identify and connect with prospects.
  • Coordinate onboarding with internal teams and follow sales best practices.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Problem-solving, communication, and sales skills (phone and in-person).
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Team leadership and independent initiative.
  • Understanding of custodial services and trust accounting systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Travel Requirements:

  • 40% travel required for territory management and planning.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA or BS degree.
  • FINRA licenses: Series 65 or 66 required; Series 6, 63, 7 preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in financial services, particularly in business development.
  • Experience with Financial Institutions in the Bank and Trust channel.
  • Salesforce.com experience.
