This position can be fully remote from one of the following states: Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Missouri, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. The position will be hybrid remote, with two days onsite for those living in the Greenville, SC area.

The Sr. Promotions Analyst for eCommerce is responsible for promotional planning from start to finish for .com business with channel partners like Build.com, Home Depot, Lowe s, and Wayfair. The Sr. Promotions Analyst will create an annual promotional calendar that aligns with retailers events and will help to grow new product sales as well as maintain top sellers. The Sr. Promotions Analyst will determine which SKUs to promote, execute the promotional pricing both internally and with the customer, and will analyze the results after each promotion is complete. This position is responsible for learning from each promotion and executing new strategies to continuously improve the effectiveness of promotions online.

To be successful in this role, you ll need excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the annual promotional calendar to align with major retailer events focusing on new product growth as well as maintaining top performing SKUS.
  • Monitor sales and site metrics. Perform deep dive analytics to understand opportunities to improve promotional performance. Summarize findings and develop appropriate actions plans.
  • Provides data-driven, actionable insights and recommendations for improving promotional strategy across all e-Commerce accounts.
  • Calculate and analyze competitor pricing and strategies.
  • Assist with adoption of analytic best practices, utilization of common tools and analytic disciplines needed to gauge effectiveness of promotions to inform decisions required to drive sales and grow market share.
  • Generate and interpret analytic and reporting findings to deliver data-driven, actionable insights; provide recommendations for changes to pricing strategies that will achieve sales goals and objectives. Become a driver of e-Commerce growth through measurement, testing, and recommendation surfacing
  • Assess and calculate margins to show the potential impact of various promotional strategies
  • Coordinating with the sales team to develop efficient marketing and promotional campaigns.
  • Execute Retail Pricing Elasticity Analysis and testing within guard rails of IMAP policy
Requirements:
  • 4-year college degree required in Business, Marketing or related field.
  • 1-3 years experience in e-Commerce promotions, pricing analytics or similar field
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI or Tableau and working with POS Data required
  • Excel: Formulas, Pivot tables, visualizations, conditional formatting. Light macros/VBA a plus but not required.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities along with an ability to collaborate cross functionally with strong attention to detail
  • The selected candidate should have an advanced understanding of the drivers of e-Commerce business.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate about actions being taken and results from the actions taken to cross functional teams.
