HR and Operations Administrator

LHH is currently partnering with an organization in the Washington DC area seeking an HR and Operations Administrator to join our team. This position plays a vital role in supporting the organization by ensuring seamless operations across HR, facilities management, and event coordination. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and contribute to a positive workplace culture. This position will be 5 days a week onsite and will pay between $65,000-$75,000 based on experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

HR Functions

  • Manage the recruitment process, from crafting engaging job postings to facilitating candidate communications.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with relevant laws.
  • Assist in the onboarding of new employees and support their integration into the team.
  • Participate in performance management initiatives and coordinate annual reviews.

Facilities Management

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, addressing issues as they arise to ensure a smooth working environment.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to office supplies, equipment maintenance, and general logistics.
  • Coordinate arrangements for office events and assist with space planning for upcoming needs.

Event Coordination

  • Research and secure venues for various events, ensuring all contracts and logistics are well-managed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to plan and execute team-building activities and corporate functions.
  • Manage budgets and payments related to event planning and ensure alignment with organizational standards.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Solid understanding of HR processes and payroll standards.
  • Ability to handle challenges with adaptability and resourcefulness.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with HR software is a plus.
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, including a one-hour lunch break.
