Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Google Cloud Platform & Infrastructure Consultant to join our team.

The successful candidate will have strong expertise in Terraform, Python, Google Cloud Platform Security, and Storage Transfer Service (STS) tools for data migration.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Google Cloud-based infrastructure while ensuring security and seamless migration of data using Google Cloud Platform s STS tool.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Design & Implementation:

Design, build, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) services.

Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

Develop automated infrastructure solutions using Terraform, ensuring consistency and efficiency in resource provisioning and management.

Security Implementation:

Ensure Google Cloud Platform security best practices are in place, including IAM policies, network security, encryption, and monitoring.

Storage Transfer Service (STS) Migration:

Manage and execute migration strategies using Google Cloud Platform s Storage Transfer Service (STS) for large-scale data transfers and migrations.

Scripting & Automation:

Write and maintain scripts in Python for automating infrastructure tasks, data migration workflows, and cloud operations.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting:

Monitor cloud systems for potential issues and work on troubleshooting performance, availability, and security concerns.

Collaboration & Documentation:

Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure alignment with cloud infrastructure best practices and compliance requirements. Document processes and solutions effectively.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Required Experience & Skills:

10+ years of experience working with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).

Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.

Strong scripting skills in Python for automation.

Deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform security best practices, including IAM, networking, and encryption.

Experience with Google Cloud Platform Storage Transfer Service (STS) for data migration.

Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure architecture, networking, and storage solutions.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with other cloud providers (AWS, Azure) is a plus.

Experience with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes is beneficial.
