Role: UX Strategist, Enterprise Design Thinking
Description of work to be performed:
  • We're looking for a Marketing and Communications Strategist to support the User Experience Center of Excellence team!
  • The scope of this role includes driving continued visibility, growth and adoption of our internal Design Thinking framework.
  • We are looking for an influential addition to the team who has a strong understanding of both the application of and ability to promote Design Thinking skills.
  • This role is a mix of both defining the marketing and developing the messaging to connect with our employees on how to better deliver value.

Specified productivity speed/number of tasks/amount of material:
  • Proactively drive the strategy for continued growth and adoption of our internal Design Thinking framework by planning, designing, developing, delivering and managing engaging and shareable content, programs, reports, presentations and sites
  • Represent our User Experience Center of Excellence team by establishing internal relationships with global and regional partners within Technology Services and other organizations
  • Define and drive an engagement strategy and programs for the community across multiple stakeholder groups, including our advisory board, to reinforce new skills and behaviors while building community best practices

Responsibilities

  • Lead the messaging and content development of our internal website as an effective resource in engaging employees with the program
  • Support Design Thinking training launches and delivery by moderating and hosting sessions alongside subject matter experts
  • Manage external vendors to design and deliver Design Thinking training courses for internal teams
  • Connect teams and individuals to content and coaching that enables them to be successful with Design Thinking skills
  • Communicate program impact through case studies, reports and presentations to deliver messaging that maintains support throughout the organization
  • Work with the team lead on developing internal marketing priorities and defining strategy
  • Track metrics to evaluate how well we are meeting business targets

Job Requirements

  • Certification and/or hands-on experience applying Design Thinking practices on projects in a professional environment
  • 8+ years experience leading high profile marketing or communications projects, including identifying requirements, managing partner expectations, communicating risks and dependencies, copywriting, video or creative content production
  • Persuasive and polished storytelling skills which you have applied to thought leadership content, training delivery and/or community building events; Ability to influence and communicate complex ideas with creative, engaging and original content cross-functionally; strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in managing creative teams of content producers, content strategists, instructional designers, and curators.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive large meetings or trainings while keeping attendees engaged
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Proficient in Miro, Slack, Jira, Figma, Microsoft products (Teams, PowerBI, Office Suite, SharePoint), Qualtrics
  • Bonus: Experience with internally facing Technology, Digital Workplace, Enterprise and/or Employee Experience fields
  • Bonus: Change management experience
  • Bonus: Instructional design, Learning Management Systems, training and development experience
