  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Configuration and Maintenance:
    • Configure, program, and maintain DeltaV DCS systems to meet operational and process control requirements.
  • Control Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement control strategies, alarm management, and interlocks to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Upgrades and Troubleshooting:
    • Perform system upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting of DeltaV hardware and software.
  • System Integration:
    • Integrate DeltaV systems with third-party systems, including PLCs, SCADA, and MES.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with operations, maintenance, and instrumentation teams to define control system requirements.
  • Control Logic and HMI Development:
    • Develop, update, and maintain control logic, graphics, and HMI interfaces within the DeltaV system.
  • Performance Monitoring:
    • Monitor and analyze process control performance and implement improvements.
  • Testing and Validation:
    • Prepare and execute FAT/SAT (Factory and Site Acceptance Tests) for control system validation.
  • Technical Support:
    • Provide technical support for commissioning, startup, and plant operations.
  • Compliance and Documentation:
    • Maintain GxP compliance and ensure system documentation adheres to regulatory and safety standards.
Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Automation, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience working with DeltaV DCS in industrial environments (Oil & Gas, Pharmaceuticals, Petrochemicals, or Manufacturing).
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong understanding of process control, automation technologies, and instrumentation.
    • Proficiency in DeltaV hardware and software configuration, including modules, logic, and alarms.
    • Hands-on experience with HART, Modbus, OPC, and other communication protocols.
    • Familiarity with PLC programming and integration with DCS.
  • Problem-Solving Skills:
    • Ability to troubleshoot complex control issues and optimize system performance.
  • Project Experience:
    • Experience with FAT/SAT, commissioning, and startup activities.
  • Regulatory Knowledge:
    • Knowledge of GMP, safety, and industry regulations.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in process industries such as Oil & Gas, Chemicals, or Pharma.
  • Knowledge of ISA standards for process control and automation.
  • Certification or training in DeltaV systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with virtualized environments and cybersecurity for control systems.
