This role will be to assist in transforming data into information in the area of life science, particularly in building ML models for designing and making small molecules for drug discovery. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the R&D AI/ML architect and senior data scientists in the relevant discipline. Depending on the candidate's interests and experience, projects may include one or more of the following:

  • Preparing data and building ML models for the property prediction of chemical compounds
  • Preparing data and building ML models for chemical synthesis
  • Applying and improving an internally developed Bayesian optimization tool for chemical synthesis condition optimization
salary: $40 - $45 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

  • Your Role:

    This role will be to assist in transforming data into information in the area of life science, particularly in building ML models for designing and making small molecules for drug discovery. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the R&D AI/ML architect and senior data scientists in the relevant discipline. Depending on the candidate's interests and experience, projects may include one or more of the following:

  • Who You Are:

  • Self-motivated individual with a strong interest in data and machine learning
  • Interested in applying life-science expertise in business analytics
  • Fluent in Python and data science adjacent libraries such as Numpy and Pandas.
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Basic Qualifications:

    Currently pursuing a BSMA with life science expertise
