Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year
We are a $150M/Year Heavy Civil Engineering Contractor with 98 years of superior performance on private, commercial, and industrial projects in Michigan. We are also pre-qualified in Indiana, Ohio, Wisconsin, and Florida. As a Heavy Civil Earthworks and Underground Estimator, you will be responsible for developing estimates on Heavy Highway & Heavy Civil projects, with an emphasis in Underground Utilities and Mass Excavation for Hard Bid, Design-Build, and Public and Private projects. DOT!
The Construction Underground Estimator position s accountability includes, but is not limited to:
oProject selection
oTake-offs
oEstimating the project from cradle to grave
oBid submission
oBudget preparation
oProject risk analysis

Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in Heavy Highway & Heavy Civil construction, estimating underground (Storm Drain, Sewer and Water) and earthworks
- BS Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
- Exposure to DOT Construction Estimating
- Knowledge of HCSS or Bid2Win software
