Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and operation of our company's fleet and facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate fleet operations including vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections

Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure fleet efficiency

Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations

Oversee the procurement of fleet vehicles and equipment

Collaborate with internal teams to optimize fleet performance and cost-effectiveness

Oversee maintenance projects at each of our 5 locations

Coordinate with all subs, generator contractors on all repairs. Assistance with bus route management

Assist with GPS software

Requirements

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and coordinate vehicle repairs

Experience in project management related to fleet operations and facilities management

Some travel required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Maintenance: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Baton Rouge, LA 70806 (Required)
