Baer is looking for SAP Commodity Risk Management Consultant for a 5+ month project located in Phoenix, AZ.
Title: SAP Commodity Risk Management Consultant
Location: Hybrid - Phoenix, AZ
Duration: 5 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2
Description:

• Collaborate with business users to support the remainder of the UAT phase, assist with testing activities, and resolve any defects or open design gaps related to commodity risk management.
• Plan and execute key go-live activities, including cutover and data conversion for the commodity risk management module.
• Lead training sessions for end users to ensure successful adoption of the system and functionality within the SAP CRM module.
• Work closely with functional and technical teams to identify and resolve any issues that arise during testing or go-live.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for the SAP Commodity Risk Management module following go-live.
• Ensure that hedging strategies and financial transactions are properly configured, tracked, and reported within the system.
• Oversee the integration of SAP CRM with external exchange markets, ensuring seamless flow of data for commodity trading.
• Drive the setup and optimization of reporting and analytics tools within the CRM module, including P&L reporting.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in SAP Commodity Risk Management and implementation, with strong functional knowledge of hedging, financial transactions, position management, and related reporting.
• Experience in supporting S/4HANA implementations, preferably in a greenfield environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering timely solutions for complex issues.
• Background in the mining or oil and gas industries, with a solid understanding of commodity risk management specific to these sectors.
• Familiarity with the SAP Commodity Pricing Engine and its configuration.
