  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  2. Click. then Settings.
  3. Click Privacy and Security.
  4. Click Site settings.
  5. Click JavaScript.

Job Title: Data Center Technician
Location: Elk Grove Village, IL 60007
Duration: 6+ months Contract

Shifts Time: M-F 3pm -12pm

Description

They will be preforming rack and stack on servers and network assets in a data center.
The Tech will need to install and test fiber and copper cabling.
They will also need to know how to terminate copper.
They will need to reboot a device and have general familiarity with how severs work.
Experience using a Fluke cable tester would be highly preferred.
Work on ladders 7-8 feet off the floor.
Install servers that can weigh up to 40-50 lbs. (will use a server lift and always working in teams).
They are occasionally asked to be on trouble shooting calls or speak to the client.
Very fast pace and busy data center environment.

Years of Experience needed:
Two years working in a data center.
(If they have been leading a team for several years they would not be a fit as they need someone with boots on the ground).

Education:
H.S Diploma

Systems/Software proficiencies.
Microsoft Office Suite (especially excel and teams).

Must have Skills:
Teachability and positive attitude is a HIGHLY valued skill.
Work independently.
Adapt.
Attention to Detail.

Nice to Have
Outside accreditations.
Customer service experience.
Experience using a Fluke cable tester would be highly preferred.
