Respond to customer inquiries regarding company products and services
Manage customer inquiries regarding various report requests and month-end processes
Quote prices and process customer orders
Procurement
Shipping and receiving
Inventory management
Manage overall operations of location
Duties as assigned
Salary range of $55 - 58k per year.
Qualifications of the Assistant Site Manager include, but are not limited to:
A degree in Supply Chain Management or extensive experience in Industrial Distribution is a plus
3 years of purchasing and inventory experience within an Industrial Distribution environment
Preference will be given to candidates with experience using Excel and/or Chempax software.
Outstanding customer service and management skills
Problem solving skills & strong record demonstrating initiative
Supervising and mentoring of employees
: Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate experience with Excel and/or Chempax software.
: Lift up to 50lbs
: Industrial environment
: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (flexible) / occasional overtime
This position covers two facilities twenty miles apart. The successful candidate is expected to use company provided vehicle.
Education: 2 or 4 year degree preferred or extensive experience as noted above
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
