Summary
The IT Systems Supervisor / Manager oversees all facets of the organization's information technology infrastructure and services and ensuring that all systems, services, and infrastructure work reliably and securely. This role partners with the senior leadership team to develop and maintain efficient and effective technology needs in alignment with organizational objectives.
Responsibilities
Oversees the day-to-day IT system and infrastructure activities of the technology function
Oversees IT governance, quality, and related vendor relationships
Supervises one to two IT team members on their daily tasks and long-term programs
Ensures the secure and effective operation of all computer systems, related applications, hardware, and software used within the organization
Develops and coordinates standardized systems, policies, and procedures
Analyzes and elevates current processes, technologies, and vendors to identify areas of improvement and propose solutions to leadership based off team user experiences
Manages the annual operating and capital expenditure budget
Monthly collaboration with the leadership team regarding technology issues or concerns, operational reports, and project progress, and IT road map input
Develop and execute security strategies, policies, and controls to safeguard the organization's data, systems, and networks against cybersecurity threats. Monitor security incidents, conduct risk assessments, and implement measures to address vulnerabilities and breaches.
Remain up to date with advances in technology and industry best practices

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree, ideally in a computer related field.
Experience: At least 5 years of related IT experience and/or training in a fast-paced organization. Must have experience demonstrating detailed knowledge in the application of information technology principles, concepts, theory, and practice as well as project leadership skills including organizing, planning, scheduling, and coordinating workloads to meet established deadlines
Must have demonstrated experience resolving complex and diverse management and technical problems
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure VMs, Azure SQL, Database administration, and IT service management tools experience/knowledge preferred
Understanding of networking, VPN, VoIP
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: ITIL, CISM, CISSP, CAPM, or PMP a plus
Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written
Occasional travel required to other company locations/sites
Compensation, Benefits & Perks
Annual Salary Range: $85,000-$125,000
