  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Chief Information Officer

Western US

A Full Service community hospital is searching for their next Chief Information Officer, overall leadership of the hospital s technology efforts to ensure continuous development and execution of technical strategies. Possesses a spirit for Innovation for developing and implementing information technology initiatives, as well as supporting these initiatives in a hands-on manner. Responsible for all aspects of the hospital s information technology and systems, to provide communications to management, monitoring progress and manage risk. This position reports directly to the CEO.

Job Type/ Schedule:

  • Onsite, In-person
  • Full time, Regular work week. Flexibility with hours as needed.

Hospital and Department Stats:

  • Level 4 Trauma Center
  • FTE s: 20-25+, 4 Direct Reports
  • EMR - EPIC

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Information System Science or related field, required.
  • Master s degree in Healthcare, Business, or related field, required.
  • 7+ years of experience in a Senior or Executive leadership role over an IT department in an acute care facility, required.
  • 3-5+ of previous experience of database administration, healthcare financial systems, IT applications, telecommunications, IT networks, hardware/software, required.
  • Working knowledge of principles and practices of information technology and legal compliance in healthcare, required.
  • Proven experience with staff management, development, and mentoring, required.
  • Visible and Hands-on as needed, required.
