What you will be doing:

The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for placing orders with vendors while negotiating for the best pricing, terms and shipping costs. In addition, the Purchasing Coordinator tracks and communicates the status of all purchases once an order has been placed. This includes providing notification to the Project Managers and Sales Account Managers when items are backordered, researching possible new vendors/products, developing vendor relationships, and maintaining inventory records.

Who we are looking for:

  • Adept at negotiation, vendor relations and customer service
  • Prior purchasing experience
  • General Accounting Experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Communications, Sales or related
  • Computer Skills - Microsoft Office, typing, 10-key, Outlook
