Please Note: This position is Hybrid. 3 days on-site and 2 days working from home.

The Data Architect is a key member of the team responsible for developing and managing comprehensive data strategies while ensuring robust data architecture and governance.

What You'll Do:
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive enterprise data strategy.
  • Design and implement data models, reference architectures, and data integration solutions on a hybrid data platform.
  • Ensure compliance of data models with enterprise data strategy across various data teams.
  • Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models to meet business requirements and support data strategy.
  • Develop and execute strategies for migrating legacy data warehouses, data marts, and data lakes to a unified data & analytics architecture on cloud platforms.
  • Ensure the data architecture supports the development, training, and deployment of AI and ML models.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, data analysts, and both with internal and external technology partners to understand data needs and to deliver data solutions.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of data architecture, processes, best practices, and standards for tools, technology, and platforms used in data solutions implementation.

What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a Data Architect, Data Modeler, or in a similar role.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms.
  • Experience in designing and deploying data warehouse and/or data lake architectures on Massively Parallel Processing (MPP) databases or Big Data platforms (e.g., Teradata, Hadoop, etc.).
  • Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL), data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration, paired with exceptional presentation abilities to articulate strategies and technical concepts to business stakeholders and executives.
