Compensation And Schedule For The Front Office Receptionist

Front Office Receptionist - Full-time, onsite, $20-$22 per hour, 3x12-hour shifts with rotating weekends. Join a positive working environment!

Required Qualifications Of The Front Office Receptionist

  • 1+ year of recent medical front office experience required
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Responsibilities Of The Front Office Receptionist

  • Serve as first point of contact for patients
  • Keep patients and families informed of wait times
  • Monitor patient flow
  • Process patients for discharge by preparing charges, collecting payment, obtaining all necessary signatures, and issuing receipts
  • Complete check in/out processes
  • Verify patient benefits
  • Set up new patient paperwork
  • Float between offices when needed
