The Staff Pad has partnered with one of Colorado s largest accounts receivable management companies to hire an IT Director of Applications. Headquartered in Longmont, this industry leader works with organizations across all 50 states, providing expert support in managing revenue cycles.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Director of Applications to join a growing team. Reporting to the CIO, the Director of Applications plays key role as a strategic business partner responsible for supporting and managing applications. The position requires the ability to communicate needs and requirements between operational and technical departments. The position will also be responsible for working with and delegating tasks to application specialist to facilitate improvements in workflow and process.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure consistency and scalability of applications through ongoing evaluation, refinement, and enforcing standardized methods and processes.
- Collaborate with operational partners to develop new technical workflows, vet application enhancements, and customize builds to meet client needs.
- Act as a technical resource for leadership when developing new lines of business, including vetting new software and technological solutions.
- Secure approval from senior management for necessary application enhancements and process improvements.
- Ensure timely and efficient resolution of reported issues and stay current with product release information and new features.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications.
- Assist with application upgrades, including planning, testing, and loading new releases.
- Evaluate existing applications to update, reprogram, and add new features.
- Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code.
- Serve as a technical resource in client meetings to assist with IT-related questions, issues, and solutions.
- Attend meetings to understand the requirements of assigned tasks.
- Mentor and train application managers on application knowledge and methodology.
- Report progress and challenges to senior management.
- Align efforts with overall corporate goals to optimize profitability and customer satisfaction through technology.
- Resolve all reported issues efficiently and liaise between parties to understand requirements and meet them effectively.
- Participate in meetings with client and internal stakeholders to discuss application requirements.





Requirements

Qualifications:

BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Systems or demonstrated industry hands-on experience

Evidence of continuing education, such as certifications, is a plus

Experience in supporting enterprise applications.

Experience in all phases of the development lifecycle

Experience in the Collections, Healthcare, or Revenue Cycle Industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to foresee possible issues and troubleshoot them proactively

Ability to understand relevant programming languages (FACS, Artiva, .NET, JavaScript, etc.) is a plus

Ability to work on multiple tasks, prioritizing and organizing these tasks to maximize productivity.
