Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced HRIS System Administrator with a specialty in UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) to join our team. In this role, the HRIS System Administrator will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the HRIS platform to ensure it meets the evolving needs of LandCare. Serve as the subject matter expert to provide a deeper understanding of HR processes and a technical aptitude for working with UKG s suite of HR solutions.
Overall Responsibilities
- System Administration: Manage and maintain the HRIS, specifically UKG, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Configuration & Customization: Customize the UKG platform to fit the organization's requirements, including workflows, reports, and interfaces.
- Data Management: Oversee data integrity, accuracy, and security within the HRIS. Conduct routine audits and troubleshoot any data-related issues.
- User Support & Training: Provide technical support to end-users, including HR staff and management, and conduct training on system features and best practices.
- Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards for HR metrics, compliance, and decision-making using UKG s reporting tools.
- System Upgrades & Integrations: Stay current on UKG updates and enhancements. Work with IT and HR teams to implement system upgrades and integrate UKG with other business systems.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure HRIS systems are compliant with all relevant data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) and internal security policies.
- Project Management: Lead or assist in HRIS-related projects, such as system upgrades, module implementations, and process improvements.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a software system administrator, preferably an HRIS system.
- Bachelor s degree required. Preferably in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of HR processes, including payroll, timekeeping, benefits, and talent management.
- Experience with SQL, HR data reporting, and analytics.
- Knowledge of data security, privacy standards, and compliance regulations.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train and support non-technical users.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with system integrations (e.g., payroll, ATS, benefits platforms).
- Project management experience, particularly in HRIS implementations or upgrades.
- Certification in UKG systems or other relevant certifications.
