This is a remote position.

Redtech is helping our client with a Contract to Hire search for a Systems/Security Admin - IAM.

Target Start - approx Mid November

Duration - Contract to Hire - 1 year
Location: Candidate must reside in Western Washington

Remote - 100% remote during contract duration, but may shift to hybrid in the future in South Downtown Seattle once converted to FTE

Daily Schedule - this role requires someone to work 5am - 1:30pm or 2pm (depending on length of lunch)
Contract Pay Rate Range - $50-55/hr W-2

Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

Description

This position reports to the IT Manager on the Student Systems and Support Team.

The primary responsibility will be supporting user security for multiple products, including overall access, user security and maintenance, page and field security, and participation in the future automation of an enterprise Identity Access Management (IAM) solution.

Responsibilities/Duties

- Support/manage multiple medium-sized security project initiatives.

- Support daily operational security management activities.

- Manage security tickets/issues to resolution.

- Collaborate in designing, implementing, improving, and supporting ?IAM? policies.

Required Skills

- 6+ years of experience with relevant Systems Administration

- 6+ years of exposure to Security/Identity and Access Management Framework, Processes and Tools.

- Experience managing and maintaining user accounts & system access privileges.

- Strong SQL

- Familiarity with multiple Operating Systems (Windows, Linux, etc.).

- Familiarity with security-related Directory Services (Active Directory, LDAP etc.).

- Experience working with Enterprise IAM tools.

- Understand the software development life cycle.

- Proficiency with using Excel, data analysis macros, and writing/updating complex queries.

- Technical configuration experience, especially supporting enterprise security tools and applications.

- Experience working with Enterprise Ticket/Issue tracking solutions.

- Knowledge of ITIL

Required Interpersonal skills

- Adaptable, sense of urgency with strong attention to detail

- Strong project management skills (backbone) to lead/drive projects/technical efforts (no people management)

- Detail analysis and documentation.

- Planning skills, adaptability, decision making

- Bachelor?s Degree - preferred, but not required

Desired Qualifications

- Student Information Systems, preferably PowerSchool - can train on this

- PMO Certification

- Experience executing a Kanban operation approach.

- ITIL certifications

- Agile certification
