Job Description:
Are you a passionate component engineer with a keen eye for detail? Join our team and contribute to the development of innovative consumer electronics products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Component Selection: Select and qualify electronic components to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Reliability Engineering: Conduct component and subsystem-level analyses to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Supplier Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, quality, and compliance with company standards.
- Design Optimization: Work with design teams to optimize component selection and design methodologies.
- Failure Analysis: Investigate component failures and recommend corrective actions to improve product reliability.
- Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities to reduce component costs while maintaining quality and performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Physics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in component engineering
- Strong understanding of electronic components, including passive and active devices
- Familiarity with component databases and PLM systems (e.g., Windchill, SAP, SiliconExpert)
- Experience with contract manufacturers and suppliers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
