Job Description
Mayo Clinic's Division of Healthcare Technology Management is seeking a candidate to join our growing and dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide product hardware and software support for the Mayo Clinic in Florida robotics program and act as an advisor to clinical, administrative and HTM leadership regarding autonomous robotics (AMR) technology at Mayo Clinic in Florida.
The successful candidate will work closely with key stakeholders and vendors in the following activity examples: performing mechatronics troubleshooting and maintenance, robot commissioning and networking, orchestrating service events internally or with a vendor, and assisting in program development. A successful candidate can drive forward progress in the implementation of new and existing robotic technologies with minimal guidance. A background in AMR or other robotics systems support is strongly preferred. This role offers a unique opportunity to help Mayo Clinic in Florida drive innovation and help shape the future of autonomous mobile robotics in the healthcare industry.
This position independently manages multiple medium or single department-scale internal business projects from inception to close, including resource management, risk identification and mitigation, quality assurance and change control. Leads process improvement or new business service implementation. Creates, provides and facilitates end user training. Leads proactive communication between and among business proponents, stakeholders and IT Leadership regarding assignments. Contributes to the improvement of established guidelines, tools, templates and methodologies. Reports department measurements and communicates metrics on activities. Broad general knowledge of information technology and institution activities. Develops proposals that consider alternatives and business case. Routinely interacts with IT vendors and provides technical interpretation for required services. May lead process or quality improvement efforts.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 3 years technology or business administration experience, OR Associates degree with 5 years technology or business administration experience.
Other qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Management or related field preferred. Experience working in healthcare technology. Prior experience with committee and consensus driven organizations. Knowledge of business systems and processes, including IT domain, data transfer protocol and IT application interfaces. Excellent communication, organization, problem solving and facilitation skills. Evidence of strong interpersonal skills including conflict resolution, meeting facilitation and organizational skills. Demonstrated history of continuing education in personnel and administrative processes.
Authorization to work and remain in the United States, without necessity for Mayo Clinic sponsorship now, or in the future (for example, ====, national, or permanent resident, refugee, or asylee). Also, Mayo Clinic does not participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.
